Grant Process

Grant Process

Education Foundation Grants are intended for district staff that work with students and wish to make improvements in their programs or practice and improve student achievement.  You may request funds to purchase materials and services for use with students if those materials are part of a project that you design now and implement in the following school year.

Preference is given to projects that address the current priorities and initiatives of the Sartell-St. Stephen Education Foundation:

   - Develop students into leaders
   - Provide leading-edge opportunities
   - Improve student achievement
   - Sustainable
   - Teamwork and collaboration with other entities in implementation
   - Number of students impacted

Application review occurs in April with announcements made in mid May, with public recognition of the awards made shortly thereafter.  The SSEF’s Board of Directors reviews all applications.

Grant recipients will be expected to communicate with the Board during and/or after project completion, participate at our annual "Toast to Autumn" thank you event, and work collaboratively with the Sartell-St. Stephen Education Foundation to highlight program success.
