Sartell-St. Stephen Education Foundation

Hilary Burns - Chair

Hilary has lived in Sartell for the past 10 years with her husband, Bryan, and three children.  Two of her children attend Oak Ridge Elementary and her oldest attends Sartell Middle School.  Hilary is an active member of the community who enjoys volunteering, substitute teaching, and participating on committees that serve the students and staff.  She was a member of the Sartell-St. Stephen Early Childhood Advisory Board and now looks forward to focusing her time on the Sartell-St. Stephen Education Foundation.  

Caroline Stutsman - Treasurer​

Caroline is a CPA at BerganKDV who specializes in auditing governmental entities.  Caroline and husband Mike have three children. One is in the middle school and two attend classes at Oak Ridge Elementary in Sartell-St. Stephen School District

Sonja Babich

Sonja Babich is the Associate Publisher for Minnesota Bride. She previously spent 8 years as Director of Sales & Marketing at Blackberry Ridge Golf Club in Sartell, MN. Sonja received her bachelor’s degree – with a double major in Communications and Art from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN.  Sonja is also a Sartell Alumni, Class of 2006, and was very active with Student Council, Class Office, Sabre Splash, Curriculum Board, Choir, and Sports.  She has enjoyed being involved in her local community serving on countless boards – such as Sartell Chamber, Sartell Hospitality & Visitors Services, and Sartell Alumni Boards. She enjoys assisting and contributing to the leading-edge opportunities for the students & staff at Sartell / St. Stephen school district. In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, boating on the Mississippi, and being at the cabin.

Dan Dixon

Dan, and his wife Andi, have 2 daughters in the Sartell – St. Stephen School District. They are thankful for the opportunities provided to their children through the school district and are excited to help support the mission of the SSEF. Dan splits his time between being the Pharmacy Manager at Option Care and shuttling his daughters around to various activities.

Chris Dolney

Chris is the CEO of FaceTime Business Resources, LLC.  FaceTime offers commercial printing, promotional products, logo'd apparel, and signage products to businesses and organizations.    Chris' daughter Paige is a student in the Sartell School District.    He formerly held a position on the Sartell Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and is also involved as a Junior Achievement Volunteer at Oak Ridge Elementary in Sartell.

Cindy Fitzthum

Cindy Fitzthum is currently the Director of Social Studies Teaching at St. Cloud State University. Cindy has a MA degree in Economics Education from the University of Delaware and is completing her dissertation for her doctorate in Higher Education Administration at St. Cloud State University. She also holds a current Minnesota 5-12 Social Studies teaching license and a K-12 Minnesota Principal License.

Cindy is married to her husband, Ryan, and they have three energetic daughters. She enjoys getting lost in a great book, running, spending time with family and friends and traveling. She is excited to join the SSEF family and help create a community of active, engaged students that have the desire to grow and develop into leaders of the future

Adam Heathcote

Adam is a Wealth Advisor with BerganKDV Wealth Management. His wife Tiffany is a 2nd grade teacher at Pine Meadow Elementary and both are Alums of Sartell, class of 2000. They have two children in the district. In addition to time with family and friends, and his duties for the SSEF Board, Adam is also on the Board for the United Way of Central Minnesota and regularly donates blood to the American Red Cross.

Stacy Hinkemeyer

Stacy Hinkemeyer, OD, FAAO, Diplomate ABO, ABCMO, is a board certified, residency trained optometrist who is the Clinical Director/CEO of PineCone Vision Center. 
Dr. Hinkemeyer is a local resident of central Minnesota and graduated from Technical High School in St. Cloud. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota at Morris and her Doctor of Optometry with honors from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. She completed her hospital based residency program in ocular disease at the Veterans Administration Medical Centers in Cleveland, Canton, and Brecksville, Ohio. She has served our veterans as the supervising optometrist at the Youngstown and Canton Veterans Clinics, and currently consults at the St. Cloud Veterans Administration Medical Center. Dr. Hinkemeyer is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and serves as adjunct faculty to multiple colleges of optometry including: Illinois College of Optometry, The Ohio State University College of Optometry, Salus University College of Optometry, and The New England College of Optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and Minnesota Optometric Association. She is a board certified diplomate in the American Board of Optometry and Board of Certification in Medical Optometry. She also acts as an examiner for the American Academy of Optometry Fellowship Exam Committee, a senior consultant to the American Council on Optometric Education, a consultant to the Minnesota Department of Education, and serves on the Illinois College of Optometry Alumni Council. Finally, Dr. Hinkemeyer is a board member of Volunteer Optometric Servies to Humanity (VOSH), and Sartell-St. Stephen Education Foundation (SSEF). 
She has been published and actively lectures on various topics, including neuroeye disease, children’s vision, glaucoma, retinal disease, and dry eye and is part of the Veterans Clinic Research Group. She is passionate about giving back to her community through local outreach, sponsorship, volunteering, and offering eyecare across the world to those in need through VOSH. Dr. Hinkemeyer participates at the Minnesota Special Olympics doing eye exams and school screens. 
Dr. Hinkemeyer is a University of Minnesota Stearns County Master Gardener. In her free time, she enjoys being with her two children, reading, and gardening.

Brandon Johnson

Brandon and his wife Laurie believe in raising their daughters, Emma and Lindsey, with the enthusiasm of the entrepreneurial spirit. Inspired by this, Brandon understands the importance of combining a small business with giving back and contributing to our community. A Graduate from The University of St. Thomas, Brandon supports the mission of SSEF with local business and community members supporting the Sartell - St. Stephen school district.  Brandon is a partner with VoigtJohnson Realty in Sartell and has been a Realtor locally since 2004.

Emily Nahan

Emily received her BS in Accounting from Saint Cloud State University in 2005.  She has over seven years of experience in the accounting and auditing industry.  Emily currently is a stay at home mother of 2 boys (1st grade at ORE and Pre-K).  She and her husband Patrick (a Sartell alumni) moved to Sartell 5 years ago for the excellent school district.  She enjoys serving the community; participating on the Community Schools Planning Committee, volunteering in the classroom and for Celebration Lutheran Church, as Board Treasurer of the Girl Scouts of MN and WI Lakes and Pines Council and now is excited to join the SSEF Board.

Sarah Noble

Sarah Noble is an Associate Advisor at AIS Planning, a wealth management firm in Saint Cloud. She is fueled with a passion for helping women and families create financial security and brings enthusiasm and grit to her profession. Her background in the financial services industry is in both operations and client-facing roles. She makes talking about money management fun, inspiring, approachable and strategic. She is not afraid to take on new challenges and unlike most people - she loves public speaking! 

Sarah and her husband, Andy, have three children, Alexandra, Katelyn and William. She and her family moved to Sartell eight years ago-- specifically in search of a district with excellent standards in educational programing and curriculum-- and have not been disappointed.  She is excited about the opportunity to impact the district through the work of SSEF and will be active in the marketing and fundraising efforts of the board. 

She and her family are involved with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and were awarded the "Minnesota State Big Family of the Year" in 2018.  Sarah volunteers with the Saint Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce, the Forum of Executive Women, and The Waters Church.  She enjoys running, photography and boating on the Mississippi River with her family and friends.

Amy Trombley

Amy is a mother of two daughters and has been involved with the Sartell-St. Stephen Education  Foundation since 2004.  Amy, a former teacher in ISD 748, is Communications Coordinator and Student Success Facilitator for Partner for Student Success and also is an education and communications consultant.  Amy is involved in several non-profit and philanthropic opportunities throughout the greater St. Cloud Area and can frequently be seen driving her children to and from a variety of school and community activities.

​Tyler Walz

Tyler Walz is a Financial Representative with Jacobs Financial in St. Cloud, MN.  Tyler is a Sartell resident, 2004 graduate of Sartell High School, and his wife, Crista, teaches kindergarten at Pine Meadow Elementary.  Tyler is excited to be a new member of the SSEF board, and to help strengthen the community he has been a part of for his entire life.

Jesse Westrup

Jesse is married to his wife, Rachel, who subs at Pine Meadow and Oak Ridge Elementary Schools. They have 6th grade twins, Hailey and Seth, at the Sartell Middle School.  The Westrup family moved to Sartell from Southern California almost 10 years ago, attracted to the area by the high quality schools.  He is excited to help SSEF provide teachers, staff, and students within the district additional resources to support their long term education needs.

Jeff Schwiebert - Superintendent

Superintendent Jeff Schwiebert graduated from Cornell College in Iowa with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Education in 1981.  He earned his Master’s Degree from the University of Iowa in Educational Leadership in 199 and his Superintendent’s Certificate from the University of Northern Iowa in 2001.  He taught social studies at the high school level for 20 years while also serving the Mount Vernon School District as a coach, Athletic Director, Assistant Principal and as Superintendent.  He continued his career as a superintendent for the North Scott School District in Eldridge, Iowa, from 2009 to 2014.  He joined the Sartell-St. Stephen School District in 2014.

Amanda Holstrom - Staff Representative

Amanda Holstrom works at Sartell Middle School as one of the Instructional Technology Specialists. She and her husband have lived in the Sartell area since 2006 and have two daughters in the Sartell- St. Stephen School District. She is passionate about learning and continuously looking for ways to improve an already outstanding district.

Tonya Miller - Executive Consultant

Tonya joined the SSEF team in 2013 and has enjoyed being involved in supporting the student's needs in the Sartell-St. Stephen School District.  Tonya and her family moved to Sartell in the fall of 2011 for the awesome educational opportunities for her two children, Austin and Alana.  She is currently the Receptionist at Pleasantview Elementary in the Sauk Rapids School District.
